Jerilderie was the only NSW town raided by bushranger Ned Kelly and his gang. Follow the Ned Kelly Raid Trail to learn more about the two-day raid in 1879 several of the 16 sites along the trail are heritage-listed. Brush up on more colonial history at Ye Old Bank of NSW or the heritage Railway Station, constructed in 1884.
There are plenty of recreational activities in this small town. Play golf or lawn bowls, try some water sports on beautiful Lake Jerilderie, play tennis or picnic in the parklands. In September, the Jerilderie Gold Cup Races is a local highlight.
